Ryanair stated that it was “compelled to cancel a few flights today (19 July)” and recommended that passengers check their Ryanair account once it was accessible again to review their available choices.
British Airways also scrapped multiple flights.
Multiple US airlines, such as United, Delta, and American Airlines, were forced to ground their flights worldwide for a significant portion of Friday. Virgin Australia and Jetstar, Australian carriers, also faced flight delays and cancellations. Airports in Tokyo, Amsterdam, and Delhi were also impacted by the disruptions.
